Photos
The photo at left was taken in 2006 at the ART HURTS Garage during recording for loneliness and freedom waltz together through the night. Beston's singing into an authentic antique: the RCA DX77.
The next two were taken in 2005 by Dean Rither at the photoshoot for Curious Melodies from the Lost Travel Diaries of Sir Albus Manchild.
This beautiful postcard from dreamland was a promotional pic for the No Half Steppers - the Social Aid, Pleasure Club, and Secondline Dance Troupe that marched with LA's Critical Brass Brass Band around 2003. That's The Bill Earner at left.
Andrea Guerrero took this portrait of Beston for How to Pass Wonder On in 2001 inside the Arts Corps building located in downtown LA's Chinatown.
This portrait, posed in front of Beston's painting for the cover of Chrysalis, was taken by Laura Guerrero, probably around 2001 or 2002.
This sexy picture dates from around the time when Beston's first album Chrysalis was blowing up at mp3.com, probably 1998 or 1999. It was taken by Tim Cox on the docks at San Diego's Embarcadero.
Here's a water-damaged pre-ART HURTS photo of Beston with hair in high school, taken in the living room of his Nashville home, probably 1991. Coincidentally, this one was also taken by Tim Cox.
