Akayaa in Green

Beston: I took this photo of Akayaa Atule just before one of Bolga Zohdoomah's shows - she was getting warmed up and dancing around in front of a big white wall. Every picture looked great; she's always very photogenic when she's dancing. The colorful strip across the bottom is a sort of collage of multiple angles on a Fra-Fra hat that Akayaa brought from northern Ghana. And, yes, that's the infamous "Afrika" font.
